    The students of the Master's Programme in Biorefineries specialise in Biobased Process Engineeering. The programme is suitable for distance learning.
     
    The Master's programme takes two years, corresponds to 120 ECTS credits and leads to the degree of Master of Science in Technology. The language of tuition in the programme is English.
     
    The degree structure of 120 ECTS (2021-2022) consists of:
      - Core studies 
      - Advanced specialisation studies including a Master's Thesis and Seminar  
      - Elective studies.
     

    The student must take enough elective studies to reach the total of 120 ECTS cr. required for the Master's degree.

    The degree structure of 120 ECTS (2021-2022) consists of:
      - Core studies
      - Advanced specialisation studies including a Master's Thesis and Seminar
      - Minor studies of 20 ECTS credits (at min.)
      - Elective studies.
     
    The extent of the minor studies is a min. of 20 ECTS cr. However, if the total of specialisation studies exceeds 80 ECTS, no minor studies are required.
     

    The student must take enough elective studies to reach the total of 120 ECTS cr. required for the Master's degree.
