In Master's Degree studies in Sustainability Science and Solutions students will learn to identify the challenges of sustainability and view them in a multidisciplinary way, producing solutions, which cover all of the aspects of sustainability on a wide range in the society. Students will study courses in renewable energy and energy efficiency, waste management, life cycle management, emission control and reduction, climate change and sustainable business and innovation. Studies will be focused on industrial and corporate processes and practices, so students will acquire knowledge and skill sets to bring sustainability solutions to corporate and government sectors.
In Master´s Degree studies in Circular Economy students will learn how to replace goods with services if it is more efficient and better for the environment. For example, information technology can offer us access to products and assets which can be utilised to create these solutions. Students will learn to create sharing economy solutions which are based on the abilities of individuals and communities. In addition, students will learn how a bio-based materials economy may help us produce systems without waste. In a circular economy, the role of business is central, and therefore, students will also learn how business can create new business models based on the circular economy approach.
