    Focus of the Master's Degree in Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability

     

     


    The Master's Degree Program in Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability is designed for future managers working in the global economy.  The program focuses on challenges of strategic management of innovation in a global context where sustainability issues create new possibilities for innovative value creation. The program develops advanced competences in the intersection of strategic management and innovation. The program pays special attention in developing the understanding of the modern business environment where economic value needs to be created in a way that simultaneously creates value to the whole society in a responsible manner.

    This two year international degree program is taught completely in English. With the selection of the minor subject the student may tailor the degree further according to his/her interests.
     
     
    NOTE:
    The MSIS Program was previously called Master in International Technology and Innovation Management (MITIM). In October 2012 the name was changed, and the students who were selected in the MITIM program may choose whether they graduate from MITIM or MSIS program. The graduation from MSIS program requires that student has at least completed the course A350A0500 - Sustainable Strategy and Business Ethics.
     

    MSIS Double Degree

     
    Unique double degree cooperation
     
    The MSIS program offers a double degree option for students interested in Russian markets with the Graduate School of Management (GSOM) of St. Petersburg State University and with the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. The MSIS program continues the double degree cooperation built in the MITIM program since 2007. GSOM is the leading Russian business school with an extensive international cooperation network.
     
    Participation in the double degree program has additional requirements for students, such as an accepted GMAT test and nostrification of the previous Bachelor degree in Russia. LUT students in the double degree program study their first year at LUT and at least one semester of the second year at GSOM.
